Our Story
Molecular Construction is an Edmonton based residential and commercial general contractor that specializes in remodelling, renovations, additions, and new construction. Our services include:

We are licensed, Service Alberta bonded, WCB covered, and fully insured with over 30 years of construction experience, in a wide variety of projects. Ensuring our clients are protected throughout all phases of construction.
We work closely with you, engineers, architects, designers, and city building department for permits and inspections in coordination with our long-term sub-contractors at all phases of your project to achieve your vision. President / Drell Bottorff
Drell graduated with a Bachelor of Science, Specialization in Genetics. Subsequently, completed a Master of Science (MSc.) at the University of Alberta. During his studies, he worked part-time for the family construction company and a local construction company hired to renovate campus heritage houses and fraternity residences.
Post-Graduation, Drell worked in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry laboratories as a Research scientist for 17 years in this field, mainly in cancer research with success while still working part-time in construction as a hobby.
In 2006, Drell left academia to start Molecular Construction Ltd. As with research, Drell’s eye for detail and maintaining a meticulous standards carry over into construction. Client satisfaction is Drell’s highest priority for every project.
Landscape Designer & Master Gardener / Michele Bottorff
After years working as a technical writer in the software industry, I had the opportunity to pursue a love, working with plants.
I began the landscape design program with the City of Edmonton in 2006. Following the design program, I wanted to learn more about the plants that grow in the Edmonton area. I completed a Master Gardener Certificate through the U of A’s Devonian Botanical Garden in 2010.
I love that I can work with clients and create a beautiful space that not only increases the property value of their home, but also enriches their lives.
